Educational Sector. High Bay Induction Lighting – Winchester 2012
Retrofitting 200 W induction lamps and control gear, replacing the existing 400 W High Pressure Sodium high bays for Winchester University sports hall.
Energy consumption was reduced by 57%. Using induction also provided very high light output as the induction lamps installed have a colour temperature (CCT) of 5000 K (Kelvin) along with very low maintenance as the lamp and control gear are designed for 90,000 hours.
