Agricultural Sector. LED Linear Lighting & Lighting Control, Multi-tier Chicken House – Somerset 2014
LSLCo refurbished chicken house replacing T8 18 W fluorescents non-corrosive fittings and lighting control. The existing T8 tubes lamp life was approximately 6,000 hours causing high maintenance for lamp replacement and fittings are wash down.
The new LED plug & play linear lights installed have a lamp life of 35,000 hours and provides an even spread of light. More importantly as the linear lights are IP66 they could stay in situ during wash down and are completely resistance to any ingress of water by high pressure hoses.
