Manufacturers & Suppliers of Energy Efficient Lighting
LSLCo are proud to confirm that all our induction light components have been independently tested by a UKAS accredited agent in the UK and have passed the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and comply to EN55015: 2006 inc. A1 & EN61547: 1995 inc. A1.
Induction lighting has a very long expected service life of around 90,000 hours (70% efficiency @ 60,000 hours) because it doesn’t have electrodes or filaments; the items that frequently cause other lamps to burn out quickly. Compare this with a typical lamp life of approximately 6,000 hours for a conventional T8 or T12 fluorescent lamp, or 12,000 hours for metal halide (depending on lamp manufacturer), you can see that induction has significant benefits over high pressure and low pressure lamps, not just for lamp life but also for light output.
Similar to fluorescent lights, Induction lamps (Electrode-less) use gasses which once ‘excited’ react with the tri-phosphor coating inside the tube thereby producing white light. Unlike fluorescent tubes they don’t use electrodes but instead use the transmission of energy by way of magnetic field (principle of induction).
Installing lamps & ballasts:
Always replace a lamp or ballast assembly together. LSLCO lamps & ballasts are not compatible with other manufacturers lamps & ballasts.
