Manufacturing Factory Lighting – Mahle Filters UK Ltd

This case history was part of a project to replace and retrofit around 400 existing SON fittings with a combination of 200W and 150W induction lighting.

LSLCo doesn't stop at surveying and delivering good quality, energy efficient lighting; it's also about developing good customer relations. We work with our clients to understand their operational requirements and have a flexible approach to our work in order to minimise disruption to their day-to-day manufacturing operations.

For instance; this project was at the client's request carried out in two phases. Good daily communication between us and the client's production and maintenance personnel ensured a smooth implementation delivering a result that not only the client was happy with but one which also impressed their customers.

These pictures show 400w SONS retrofitted with 150W induction lamps. It can clearly be seen that the colour rendering is much improved with induction lighting.

The overall project delivered an overall payback of just over 2 years and a carbon footprint reduction of 108 tonnes/year.
